  We chatted with the "Make It or Break It" star about all things merry.

  Guess what we found out? Cassie Scerbo ADORES Christmas, and her spirit is totally contagious. Just try not to get caught up in it.

   

  abcfamily.com: Other than home, of course, where would be your dream place to celebrate the holidays?

  Cassie Scerbo: In Italy! My native country! I'd love to see how others celebrate overseas, especially the country of my ancestors.

  abcfamily.com: What's your all-time favorite holiday memory?

  Cassie: My big brother waking me up every Christmas morning and us waking up our big sis and seeing all the presents under the tree. It's magical. There's nothing like the spirit of Christmas morning -- being around the tree with my family!

  abcfamily.com: What do you want for Christmas this year?

  Cassie: Being with my family, and that all of us are healthy and happy. That's the biggest blessing I could ever ask for. As for the fun stuff? Hmmmm. I did want cute clothes, but giving is definitely way more fun for me! I can't wait for my family to open their presents!

  abcfamily.com: Got any New Year's resolutions? Care to share?

  Cassie: My New Year's resolution is to stop over-analyzing things in life and to just continue to be free and happy! Also, to help grow my nonprofit organization called Nothing's Impossible.

  abcfamily.com: What was your favorite holiday tradition growing up?

  Cassie: Christmas Eve! I'm 100% Italian, so the tradition is that my mother cooks about 15 different fish dishes on Christmas Eve (and of course some chicken cutlets and pasta) and my whole family comes over to dine, laugh, and be merry!
