Cassie Scerbo's Favorite Valentine's Day Memory
Cassie Scerbo, star of ABC Family's "Make it or Break It," sat down with Holidash to give us the scoop on her best Valentine's day, and what she and boyfriend Cody Longo will be doing this year.
What is your favorite Valentine's Day memory?
My current, long-time, boyfriend and co-star, Cody Longo definitely left an ever-lasting mark in my heart with one of my favorite valentines memories (besides the beautiful jewelry, teddy bears and candy my mom and dad got my siblings and I as children ...he surprised me a few years ago when I just moved out here and had no idea of my way around by taking me to Malibu Beach, to an amazing restaurant right on the water. Then, afterwards he drove me to the end of this road (which I had no idea where we were, because I had just moved), he parked and gave me a pair of sweats and a sweatshirt of his from the back seat and told me to put it on because it was cold out and that he'd be right back. I then got out... was taken behind these trees and all the sudden we were on this private beach. But that wasn't all, we kept walking and all of the sudden I looked down at the lower part of the sand and there was a huge heart made of red candles, glowing in the night. It was magical, and here we are years later! He rocks.
What is your worst Valentine's Day memory?
I don't have one, I try to enjoy every day I'm blessed with. Life is beautiful
What's the best gift you ever gave or received from a Valentine?
Love. Giving and receiving love is better than any pricey present I could ask for. But don't get me wrong, my boyfriend totally spoils me!..okay, and I spoil him too!
How do you plan on celebrating Valentine's Day this year?
I don't know just yet, I'm pretty spontaneous, as well is Cody...we're always surprising each other. Next year ... I'll let you know!
Do you have any Valentine's Day traditions?
Not really, just to love and be loved. Like I said, I love spontanaity, so surprises are more my thing each year. Now, if we were talking about Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving, Halloween etc., I'd have a ton of traditions to share, coming from a huge, beautiful, Italian family..
What's your ideal Valentine's Day?
Giving love and being love. Enjoying the blessing of my family, friends and boyfriend, of course.
