It was so much fun to be back in the studio - I can't believe it's been two years! I love to sing my heart out, especially my own songs.
These songs are meant to inspire people of all ages. To encourage people to be the best they can be, and yet also have some fun! As soon as I'm inspired by something, and get a beat and melody, I start writing. I then spend one to two weeks in the studio to record the songs and tweak them.
I wrote "Sugar and Spice" as an introduction to who I am, an insight into my personality. I'm girly and I'm also a tomboy. I'll be in a boxing ring with heels on! This song reflects those two sides of my personality.
I co-wrote "Betcha Don't Know," and it's a cool rock anthem. I wanted a hard-core song to rock out to while singing in the car with the convertible top down.
"Top of the World" was a song I co-wrote a few years ago. It's an inspiring song about where I see myself one day. My goal is to be on top of the world! I'm unstoppable!
My sound is sort of pop with a rock edge. My raspy voice makes my songs a little more hard core. But my sound could change depending one what I decide to do next, because I always want to expand and do more I'll never settle!
I don't consider myself to be one specific thing - actor, singer, dancer - I'm a performer, and I want to inspire by telling stories through all these artistic expressions.
